1. Podrán participar en la tercera edición de Cuento en corto todas las narraciones orales que sean presentadas en formato audiovisual (en adelante vídeo).

2. Los cuentos podrán ser originales e inéditos, o bien pertenecer a la tradición popular, o bien que el narrador oral tenga la autorización del autor para poder contar ese cuento.

3. Los cuentos podrán ser narrados en cualquier idioma, pero aquellos que no estén narrados en español deberán estar subtitulados en español.

4. La duración del vídeo no excederá los cinco minutos.

5. La convocatoria para presentar narraciones orales a concurso estará abierta entre el 15 de diciembre de 2011 y el 15 de enero de 2012, ambos inclusive. A efectos de admisión se tendrá en cuenta en todo caso el huso horario de Madrid (España).

6. Los vídeos participantes deben ser colgados previamente a su inscripción en el concurso en el sistema de distribución gratuita de vídeos por Internet Youtube.com.

7. Enviar el enlace URL y cumplimentar los datos solicitados en el formulario para participar supondrán la admisión a concurso del vídeo.

8. Cada participante podrá presentar un máximo de tres vídeos, tanto si participa en ellos como autor del texto o como narrador oral del mismo.

9. Los vídeos se publicarán en la Web de Cuento en corto a medida que vayan recibiéndose y seleccionándose. Los vídeos se comenzarán a colgar en la Web de Cuento en corto a partir del 27 de diciembre de 2011.

10. La organización se reserva el derecho desestimar y no exhibir en la red los vídeos que, de acuerdo con su criterio, no cumplan las bases, no reúnan la calidad suficiente o atenten contra los valores esenciales de la convivencia social.

11. No se admitirá cualquier otra narración audiovisual que no cumpla las condiciones expresadas en las presentes bases.

12. Los participantes responden ante la Red Internacional de Cuentacuentos y Escuela de Escritores de la autoría y originalidad del cuento, asumiendo la total responsabilidad, y dejando por tanto a la Red Internacional de Cuentacuentos y a Escuela de Escritores indemnes frente a cualquier reclamación que, en este sentido, pudieran efectuar terceras personas, incluso las derivadas de un incumplimiento de la legislación sobre honor, intimidad, injurias y calumnias, derecho de imagen o de expresiones que pudiesen ser consideradas difamatorias u obscenas.

13. El fallo del Jurado se anunciará el 30 de enero de 2012.

14. Los nombres de los miembros del Jurado no se darán a conocer hasta el día del fallo del Premio. El Jurado estará formado por miembros  de la Escuela de Escritores y de la Red Internacional de Cuentacuentos. Las decisiones del  Jurado serán inapelables.

15. El jurado resolverá las dudas que pudieran plantearse a lo largo del concurso, siendo su decisión inapelable. La participación en el Concurso implica la aceptación de estas bases.

Se establece un premio de 500 euros, al que se sumará una beca para cursar de manera gratuita cualquier curso online trimestral de Escuela de Escritores. En el caso de que el texto escrito sea de un autor diferente del narrador oral, la cuantía del premio se dividirá entre ambos coautores del cortometraje; en ese mismo caso ambos coautores podrán cursar independientemente uno de los cursos trimestrales ofertados por la Escuela de Escritores.

La Red Internacional de Cuentacuentos y Escuela de Escritores se comprometen a difundir a través de sus portales y su blog de narradores el Premio Cuento en corto.

3. Video-stories can be told in any language, but those that are not told in Spanish should be subtitled in Spanish.

5. The call for Video Storytelling Contest will be open from December 15, 2011 and closed in January 15, 2012, inclusive. For the purposes of admission will be considered in any case the local time zone of Madrid (Spain).

6. The videos should be uploaded by participants prior to entering the competition in the system of video free distribution of Internet Youtube.com.

7. Send the URL link and complete the information requested on the form to participate will involve the admission in the Video-stories Contest.

8. Each participant may submit up to three Video-stories, whether participating as author of the text or the same storyteller.

9. We will upload Video-stories on the web www.cuentoencorto.com as they are received and selected. Video-stories will begin to be seen on the Web from December 27, 2011.

10. The organization reserves itself the right to reject and not display in its Web the videos that, according to its criteria, do not meet the bases, do not have enough quality, or violate the values ​​of social harmony.

11. The organization does not admit any other audiovisual narrative that does not meet the conditions set forth in these rules.

12. Participants respond to the International Storytelling Network and the School of Writers about the authorship and originality of the story, assuming full responsibility, and thereby leaving the International Storytelling Network and the School of Writers free from and against any claim in this regard, would made by third parties, including those arising from a breach of legislation on honor, privacy, libel and slander, image rights or expressions that could be considered defamatory or obscene.

13. The jury’s pronounce will be announced on January 30, 2012.

14. The names of the jury members will not be announced until the day of the decision of the prize. The jury will consist of members of the School of Writers and the International Storytelling Network. Jury decisions are final.

15. The jury will resolve the doubts that might arise during the contest, and its decision final. Participation in the Contest implies acceptance of these rules.

A prize of 500 euros is established, which will add a scholarship to attend any online quarterly course for free in the School of Writers. In the event that the written text of an author is different from the storyteller, the amount of the prize will be divided between the two co-authors of the video, in that case, both co-authors may undertake independently any of each quarterly courses offered by the School of Writers.
